Terms of Service

ScrollYield helps users save, organize, summarize, search, and revisit content they choose to add to their personal library. Users may save links, notes, screenshots, images, text, metadata, and other materials.

ScrollYield is a productivity and personal knowledge tool. We do not publish, endorse, approve, verify, monitor, or assume responsibility for content saved by users.

You are solely responsible for all content you save, upload, import, paste, write, process, or otherwise add to ScrollYield.

This includes responsibility for:

• having the legal right to save, upload, process, and use the content;
• complying with copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, platform terms, and other applicable laws;
• ensuring the content is not illegal, infringing, harmful, abusive, exploitative, or otherwise prohibited;
• any decisions, actions, or consequences resulting from your saved content or your use of ScrollYield.

ScrollYield has no responsibility or liability for user-saved content, including its legality, accuracy, usefulness, safety, completeness, ownership, or consequences.

ScrollYield may allow you to save or process content from websites, platforms, apps, social networks, publications, creators, or other third parties.

We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for:

• what third parties publish;
• whether third-party content is accurate, lawful, available, safe, or appropriate;
• whether you have permission to save or process third-party content;
• third-party terms, policies, restrictions, or enforcement actions.

Saving a link, generating a summary, or displaying metadata does not mean ScrollYield endorses or is responsible for the source content.

You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to any rights held by third parties.

By using ScrollYield, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, process, analyze, transform, summarize, classify, display, and transmit your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, improve, and provide the service.

This license does not transfer ownership of your content to ScrollYield.

ScrollYield may use artificial intelligence or automated systems to generate summaries, takeaways, tags, topics, reminders, classifications, estimated reading times, and related suggestions.

AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, outdated, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to rely on any AI-generated output.

ScrollYield does not provide legal, financial, medical, professional, or expert advice.

You agree not to use ScrollYield to:

• save, upload, process, or distribute illegal content;
• infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights;
• store or process content you do not have the right to use;
• upload malware, harmful code, or abusive material;
• violate third-party platform terms or access restrictions;
• harass, abuse, exploit, surveil, impersonate, or harm others;
• attempt to access another user's account or data;
• interfere with, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or abuse ScrollYield systems;
• use the service for spam, fraud, illegal activity, or unauthorized commercial exploitation.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take other action if we believe these Terms have been violated or if use of the service creates risk for ScrollYield, users, third parties, or the public.

ScrollYield respects intellectual property rights. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the right to save and process content in ScrollYield.

If you believe content stored or processed through ScrollYield infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to scrollyield@gmail.com.

Please include:

• your name and contact information;
• identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed;
• identification of the content or material you believe is infringing;
• enough information for us to locate the material;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate;
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner;
• your physical or electronic signature.

We may remove or disable access to content in response to valid notices. We may also terminate accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate. If you believe content was removed by mistake, you may contact us at the same email address with a counter-notice.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Notify us promptly at scrollyield@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

ScrollYield may offer free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions may be processed by third-party payment providers.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the pricing, billing cycle, renewal terms, cancellation terms, and payment terms shown at checkout.

We may change plan features, limits, or pricing from time to time. Where required, we will provide reasonable notice.

ScrollYield may offer free plans, promotional plans, or ad-supported experiences. If advertising is introduced, ads may be selected or measured using information such as account status, usage patterns, device information, approximate location, saved-content categories, or other information described in our Privacy Policy.

We will not intentionally make your private saved library public for advertising purposes.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit parts of the service at any time. We do not guarantee that ScrollYield will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always available.

ScrollYield is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScrollYield and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, profits, revenue, goodwill, business, or use.

ScrollYield is not liable for user-saved content or for any consequences arising from content you save, upload, process, summarize, search, revisit, share, export, or act upon.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScrollYield and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

• your use of ScrollYield;
• your saved content;
• your violation of these Terms;
• your violation of any law or third-party right;
• any dispute involving content you saved, uploaded, imported, or processed.

You may stop using ScrollYield at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, caused harm, or used the service unlawfully.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice where required. Continued use of ScrollYield after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
